Construction Field Superintendent

As Construction Field Superintendent (CFS), this individual will be responsible for managing projects from pre-construction release for construction through completion, applying company resources, and using strong, effective communications skills, to foster individual as well as team accomplishments. Dedication, proficiency, and the ultimate outcome of each project will determine success in this position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience as a field superintendent in commercial general construction, specifically in public, private, industrial, and government contract work. Candidates must possess OSHA 10 certification and the willingness to obtain OSHA 30 certification.

Knowledge of site work; rough and finish carpentry; concrete forming and construction; mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; and the ability to read/understand construction documents are mandatory. 

Candidates must demonstrate ability to use MS Office and be familiar with project management software.

Construction Project Manager

As Construction Project Manager (CPM), the individual will be responsible for managing multiple projects from pre-construction through completion and utilizing company resources, coupled with strong, effective communications skills, to foster individual as well as team accomplishments. Dedication, proficiency, and the ultimate outcome of each project will determine the CPM’s success in this position.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years experience as a project manager in commercial general construction, specifically in public, private and industrial work and with government contracts. Candidates must possess OSHA 10 certification and the willingness to obtain OSHA 30 certification. Knowledge of site work; rough and finish carpentry; concrete forming and construction; mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems; and the ability to read/understand construction documents are mandatory.  Candidates must demonstrate ability to use MS Office and MS Project Software. Butler Builder^® and Maxwell Software experience is a plus.

General Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced General Construction Estimator. Qualified candidates should have strong commercial and industrial construction building knowledge. Individual will be responsible for preparing cost estimates for bidding purposes. Other tasks will include yet are not limited to: Analyze electronic and printed drawings, perform a detailed project take-off, pre-bid site surveys, foresee constructability issues in a project, analyze specifications, participate in bid review process, determine scope and accuracy of drawings and assist in the change order pricing.

Specific project work experience should include:

• Public Bid Work, i.e. Education Facilities, Municipal Buildings
• Federal Government Projects
• Private Sector Commercial Projects, Strip Centers, Grocery Stores, Medical buildings
• Dental Offices and Multi-Specialty Centers, MRI Imaging and Cone Beam Installations
• Pre Manufactured Metal Buildings (Butler^® Buildings)

Qualifications should include:

• Strong knowledge of the IBC Code
• Proficient MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, and web based plan room skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to communicate with all levels of management in various departments
• Adhere to strict aggressive deadlines
• Minimum 5 years experience in estimating, related to commercial, industrial, and Federal work
• Familiarity with transit construction, utility and co-generation a plus
• Field and Project Management experience a plus
• Must be capable of working within the cyclical nature of a competitive proposal schedule that often requires extended hours
• Must have the ability to coordinate multiple concurrent tasks
• Good time management, problem solving, and decision making skills
• Willingness to travel when required
